I was born in Santiago de Cuba, where music runs through everything. From the son cubano echoing through the streets to the jazz clubs, I've been immersed in sound my entire life. At 16, I started creating beats and using plugins to produce urban music from my bedroom. Two years later, I signed my first record deal with Topaz Sound in Sweden — the label that managed Jamaican superstar Sean Paul. Together we produced Regueton a lo Cubano, the first reggaeton album ever made in Cuba with a foreign label (listen on Spotify). I produced 7 of its tracks — recording vocals through a Neumann M149 Tube microphone using Logic Pro and creating beats with FL Studio. After graduating in 2005 from the School of Music in Cuba and with over 20 years of experience, I've been fortunate to play on the biggest stages across Europe and in the most prestigious theaters throughout the United States with CAMI Music (Columbia Artists Music), working and learning from the most expert sound engineers and testing the top sound systems in the world.
